Learn about the amazing world of independent zines with Kinsale Drake and the Changing Wxman Collective as we create our own zines together!
In this workshop, Kinsale Drake will share selections from her zine, “Hummingbird Heart” (Abalone Mountain Press, 2022) and examples of other independently or small press-produced zines.
We will review zine aesthetics, a brief and fun history of zines in BIPOC artist circles, and then each begin working on a small zine together!
All materials will be provided by both the Changing Wxman Collective and The Ruby!
