How does the DUMPLING SWAP work?

Everyone makes dumplings at home, freezes them, and parcels them into plastic bags. 10 to 12 dumplings per bag. (We recommend freezing on cookie sheets first, then transferring to freezer ziplocks so they don't get stuck to one another.)

Why dumplings?

Dumplings are delicious, and easily freezable! They are also often consumed on Lunar New Year. We'd love to celebrate with a plethora of dumplings!

What do I do once I sign up? 

• Decide on your dumpling recipe and share it on our communal dumpling doc

• Share any allergies or dietary considerations you may have in the communal dumpling doc

• Make the dumplings!

• Freeze the dumplings (bags should contain 10 to 12 dumplings)

• Show up to swap your dumplings

COVID Precautions: This event is for Ruby members only. You must be both vaccinated and boosted in order to attend this event. We are closely monitoring the omicron news and will be holding this event outside on the Ruby patio.
