As everything speeds up and roars towards the end of 2022, it can be more challenging than usual to find moments of quiet and stillness. As a much needed antidote to busyness, it’s my pleasure to offer noontime yoga classes at The Ruby on Mondays and Wednesdays and a Happy Half Hour Stretch and Meditation before Happy Hour on Fridays.
Regardless of whether you’re a seasoned practitioner or a brand new beginner, these classes will offer a space to combine breath, movement, stillness, and surrender. The classes will be an accessible, heartful flow with some music and some silence. There will be plenty of room to dial it up or dial it down, depending on what you need from the class. I find that writing as a practice and yoga as a practice have many synergies, and I hope these classes will mark the beginning of accessible and affordable community yoga at The Ruby! The classes will be donation based on a sliding scale of $5-$25 (Marissa's Venmo shared in Ticket section). No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
