We are honored to feature Justin Trabue, founder and winemaker for Ward Four Wines. Justin generously donated wines to support our Harvest Party Fundraiser and has joined us for Happy Hour as a participant in the past!
From Justin:
"My name is Justin Trabue (she/her) and my motto is Wines of Joy, No Fuss. Ward Four Wines pays homage to my family and the city that raised me (Washington, DC). There are four reasons for Ward Four Wines. I grew up in the 4th Ward of DC, I am a 4th Generation DC native, I come from a small family of four people, and my moms maiden name is Ward. I am a micro winery specializing in low intervention winemaking practices working with family owned vineyards that are sustainable in their vineyard and vineyard stewardship practices. I target beginner and veteran wine-o's alike! I work with lesser discussed varieties such as Barbera and Muscat Blanc specifically so that conversations can be had around my wine. It is exciting for me when new wine drinkers enjoy new varieties and then can further their knowledge even more afterwards.
I can't wait to talk with everyone about my background in wine, why I moved across the country and the fun songs, movies, and tv shows that pair with these wines!
